Let Us Change Our Attitude Towards the Homeless

Spread empathy towards the homeless, then action will follow! Starting with ourselves, lets change the way we think about the homeless. Society has labeled homeless people as lazy, crazy, violent, addicts, criminals, etc. who choose homelessness. Society sees homeless people as morally and socially inferior. It is common belief that regular, average people can’t become homeless. The truth is that homeless people are just people like you and I, family members, co-workers, neighbors or possibly even your friends, who have been overtaken by an unlikely circumstance beyond their ability to deal with at that time, and as a result, were forced to make a drastic and immediate change in their lifestyles
